Greg Griffin

Greg Griffin was appointed Georgia's State Accounting Officer in August 2008. Mr. Griffin comes to the State of Georgia from AT&T and its Bellsouth Corporation and Cingular Wireless affiliates where he enjoyed a nearly 25-year career.

Mr. Griffin has an extensive background in controllership and human resources functions. During his career with AT&T, he held various director positions in accounting policy, financial reporting, and employee benefits. Mr. Griffin also worked as an auditor with Deloitte Haskins and Sells.

Mr. Griffin earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Auburn University and is a Certified Public Accountant. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Alabama Society of CPAs and the Georgia Society of CPAs.
