System Availability on State Holidays
As recently announced, the PeopleSoft Financials system is now available to users 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. The PeopleSoft HCM system is currently available on a 24 by 7 basis, and will continue going forward.
Batch processing will not be performed on State holidays, but will occur on the next business day after the holiday.
The State Accounting Office of Georgia will be closed on the following days for calendar year 2009:
- New Year's Day - Thursday, January 1, 2009
- Martin Luther King, Jr.'s Birthday - Monday, January 19, 2009
- Confederate Memorial Day - April 26 - will be observed on Monday, April 27
- Memorial Day - Monday, May 25, 2009
- Independence Day - July 4 - Will be observed on Friday, July 3, 2009
- Labor Day - Monday, September 7, 2009
- Columbus Day - Monday, October 12, 2009
- Veterans Day - Wednesday, November 11, 2009
- Thanksgiving Day - Thursday, November 26, 2009
- Robert E. Lee's Birthday - January 19 - will be observed on Friday, November 27, 2009
- Washington's Birthday - February 16 - will be observed on Thursday, December 24, 2009
- Christmas Day - Friday, December 25, 2009
