Human Capital Management
The State Accounting Office is currently utilizing PeopleSoft version 8.9 for approximately 115 state entities.
The modules currently in use are:
- Workforce Administration (Includes Biographical, Job Data, Positions, Budgets)
- Benefits (Including Pensions)
- North American Payroll
- Enterprise Learning
- Employee Self Service
- Manager Self Service
- Performance Management
The Employee Self Service feature allows employees access to their system information. Employees are able to:
- View and Update personal information i.e., home address, personal contacts and phone numbers
- View and Update Payroll Information including direct deposit, federal (W-4) and state (G-4) tax information
- View leave balances
- View compensation information
- Document Performance Reviews
Manager Self Service allows managers with direct reports to view information on their employees.

The HCM System, for HR office use, is available Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. until 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m.
The HCM System, for Employee and Manager Self Service, is available Monday through Saturday 24 hours per day, and on Sunday, after 4am, all day.
The HCM Production Support Desk is available Monday through Friday for 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Infopac (View Direct) is the mainframe software used to distribute and archive reports produced out of the system. Document Direct, a PC version of View Direct, is used by many users to view and selectively print portions of reports on local printers.
