Bill McCleary
Bill McCleary serves as Division Director for Statewide Accounting and has been a member of the SAO leadership team since September 2007. Mr. McCleary has been involved with financial accounting and reporting for more than twenty years in the private sector.
Mr. McCleary was a plant controller for over ten years, primarily focusing in on financial, operational and system aspects for two local manufacturing companies. He also has extensive experience in the cost accounting discipline as well as experience in enterprise IT functions and analysis such as; system design, development analysis, hardware, software configuration, system maintenance and upgrade.
Mr. McCleary earned a Bachelor of Science (Accounting) degree from the University of Alabama and is currently fulfilling work requirements for CPA certification in the State of Georgia.
