Fiscal Leadership for Georgia

Compliance Reporting

The overall purpose of the State Accounting Office Compliance and Risk Management Department is to evaluate, monitor, and improve statewide internal controls and financial accountability in Georgia.  Compliance activities include the preparation of the Single Audit Report, oversight and management of the Statewide Cost Allocation Plan (SWCAP), oversight and guidance to state agencies over the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA), and establishing and assessing agency internal controls in order to more effectively manage risk and maintain accountability.
