Monique Simmons is the Director of Shared Services and is responsible for the overall direction of the payroll and finance shared service centers. She is responsible for recruiting new agencies to the center, delivering on services promised customers of the shared service center, and identifying opportunities to streamline process and reduce costs.
Prior to SAO, Monique has held various accounting and treasury positions over the past 12 years in several agencies including the Georgia Regional Transportation Authority, the Georgia Department of Economic Development, and the Georgia Department of Community Affairs.
Monique has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Clarkson University with a concentration in Technical Communications.
