1Q: What is the IM button for? 1A: This is an instant messaging function which may be a future option to consider.
2Q: Is the balance in the employee leave summary the most recent eligible leave balance? 2A: The balance reflects the balance as of the last update, not including the forecast. It does not include future accruals.
3Q: Can the absence forecast message be changed based on each agency? 3A: Although we don’t have the option at this time it is a possible enhancement to consider in the future.
1Q: When will the TeamWorks HCM 9.2 Upgrade Go Live? 1A: The Go Live date is late October 2016. An exact date will be communicated as soon as possible.
2Q: When will the TeamWorks HCM 9.2 upgrade implementation occur and will TeamWorks be unavailable during the upgrade? 2A: TeamWorks HCM will be taken offline on Thursday 10/27 at 6:00 PM and will remain unavailable until Monday 10/31 at 8:00 AM at which point the TeamWorks HCM 9.2 system will become available.
3Q: Will I have access to Employee Self Service (ESS) during the upgrade implementation? 3A: No, ESS will be unavailable during the upgrade implementation weekend. It is highly recommended that you plan to conduct any business in which you will need to interact with ESS, (e.g., viewing your paycheck, or updating personal information, etc.) prior to the upgrade weekend.
4Q: What browsers are compatible with the upgraded version of HCM? 4A: The following browsers and versions are supported with the HCM 9.2 upgrade:

5Q: Should I clear my internet browsers cache and cookies after the upgrade? 5A: Yes, before you login to ESS after the upgrade be sure to clear your browsers cache and cookies. Most internet browsers’ cache can be cleared by simply pressing [Shift] + [Ctrl] + [Del]. Please visit the SAO website for more information on How to Clear Cache & Cookies.
1Q: Will there be training for TeamWorks HCM 9.2? 1A: We will use multiple training methods to prepare you for the changes depending on what systems you use at your agency and your role. All HR leaders received an overview of the changes on Thursday, September 29. Pre-Recorded Webinars will be available October 14, 2016 and TeamWorks Online Training will be updated with the HCM 9.2 changes on October 31, 2016.
All users across the state will be invited to see a more detailed demonstration of the changes during two HCM User Group meetings.

We will train the trainers at the agencies using the TeamWorks Time and Labor and Absence Management systems. You will receive information about this in-person training from the individuals within your agency.
2Q: When is the TeamWorks HCM 9.2 Upgrade Training? 2A: HCM 9.2 Upgrade training is in September 2016. Exact dates and times will be communicated as soon as possible.
1Q: Who makes the HR Administration termination checklist assignment? 1A: Individuals are authorized by their agencies to create and assign checklist. An HR Administrator or HR Manager would typically be authorized for this activity.
2Q: Is use of the HR Termination checklist mandatory? 2A: No. It is simply an optional tool that can be used to track items associated with terminations.
3Q: Will the checklist update automatically when certain tasks are completed? 3A: No. The checklist will not update automatically. Links are provided to permit you to quickly access the checklist from your open checklists queries and update the status.
4Q: Is there an opportunity to have a new hire checklist in addition to the existing HR checklist? 4A: That is certainly something we can discuss and implement in the future.
1Q: With the new ePerformance Auto Save feature, will ePerformance time outs still occur? 1A: Yes, however, AutoSave saves text each time you move from one text field to another, so in the event of a time out, only the most recent comment might be lost if not manually saved. Also, users can save content at any time by using the “save” button located in the upper right corner of the screen.
2Q: With the HCM 9.2 upgrade will ePerformance be upgraded? 2A: Yes, in ePerformance 9.2:
“Individual Goals” text boxes now allow unlimited text.
An “auto-save” feature now saves text content when moving from one text field to another.

3Q: What is the difference between the template date and the document dates? 3A: The “Due Date” that you see in the Process Panel on the left of ePerformance documents will continue to function as they do now: The “Due Date” listed in the Process Pane on the left is based on the State’s fiscal year (July 1 200X to June 30 200Y) with the mid-year document due date showing as “01/01/200Y“.
Likewise the ePerformance document begin and end dates to continue to work as they do now: users may set document begin and end dates by using the calendar icon, or by manually entering start and end dates when creating annual, quarterly or mid-year documents.
4Q: Will we be able to clone performance reviews? 4A: Yes. Currently, the manager can clone now from previous documents. It’s important to be sure you’re only cloning from post JCCP documents with the current job codes.
1Q: What performance documents can a manager see in the Manager Dashboard? 1A: Managers will have access to their direct and indirect reports Performance documents through the new Manager Dashboard
2Q: What will be included on the Career Planning tab of the Manager Dashboard? 2A: This tab is not yet functional and may be added in the future we expand HCM functionality.
3Q: Can a supervisor enter into a Performance Document from the Manager Dashboard instead of having to navigate all the way through Performance Management? 3A: Yes the new manager dashboard allows managers to enter a performance document without having to navigate through all the menus.
4Q: On the manager delegation - how long does that last? 4A: The Manager assigning the delegate sets the expiration date.
1Q: Will there be visual changes in the TeamWorks HCM 9.2 version? 1A: Yes, there will be visual changes in TeamWorks. The most immediate change will be the page color followed by menu behavior. A cascading menu can be found by clicking ‘Main Menu’ at the top of the screen. Aside from visual changes, the behavior of the system is functionally similar.
