Approvals & Time Management

  • View Your “My Tasks”

    • Review "My Tasks" each time you sign in to see transactions awaiting your approval.
    • Remind employees to monitor their tasks daily and complete approvals promptly.
  • Time Reminder

    • Ensure hourly employees enter their time accurately and managers approve time worked in a timely manner.
  • Delegation

    • Use delegation to make sure approvals don’t get delayed if you are a manager who will be unavailable for a set period of time.

Dive deeper into these Approvals and Time Management topics on the Working in GA@WORK page on the GA@WORK Resource Library.

Access & Sign-in

  • Sign-in Tips

    • Check personal email if the MFA code is delayed, as some codes may be routing there.
    • Remove and re-add a user in Active Directory if they experience SSO login issues.
  • Support Portal Access

    • Remember that once someone is hired into GA@WORK (and have the applicable roles) there is an overnight run to get new users added to the GA@WORK Support Portal. Please allow at least one business day for the update to occur.

Help & Support

  • Finding Help

    • Check the GA@WORK Support Portal first for guidance on a particular subject. If help is still needed, attend Office Hours, and if still unresolved, submit a ticket. There is a search bar at the top of the landing page that can expedite the location of requested content.
    • Keep ticket numbers available when escalating issues for faster follow-up.

Check out the full Office Hours schedule on the Go-Live Support for Employees page on the GA@WORK Resource Library.

Employee Self-Service

  • Access historical W-2s (last 5 years), prior year performance evaluations and pay checks from Jan – June 2028 via your profile. Click “View Profile” > ”Personal” > Click “Documents” tab.
  • Know that updating some personal information about employees must be approved by an HR Partner – that was by design for security purposes.
  • Banking information - The “Account Nickname” and “Bank Name” under Payment Elections are optional information and can be edited by employees.
  • View your forfeited leave through your profile, Click "View Profile" > "Absence" > At the top of the page, select "Forfeited Leave Balances."
  • Search, before navigating through multiple windows, to locate tasks, reports and people using the GA@WORK Search feature in GA@WORK.
