Will PeopleSoft position numbers be transferred into GA@WORK?
PeopleSoft position numbers will be loaded into GA@WORK.

Can agencies have agency-specific forms to be completed during onboarding by the new hire in GA@WORK?
Onboarding in GA@WORK will contain statewide forms and tasks only. Agencies will still have to manage agency-specific forms outside of GA@WORK.

Do employees maintain access to GA@WORK after leaving employment?
GA@WORK plans to allow access for 15 months. The method of access is still being determined.

When will the employee ID number be generated during the hiring process?
An employee ID is generated upon hire.

How can an action be pulled back if a correction is needed after submitting to next step?
This depends on the specific action and security roles. Certain security roles in your HR can cancel or send back any action.

If an employee initiates their resignation and submits, who does it go to?
Submitted resignations from employees will go to their manager and payroll partner.

Can a terminated employee see their reason for termination?
Terminated employees cannot see their reason for termination.

Who can view documents attached to a worker's profile?
Attachments to worker profiles are only viewable by the worker and individuals with aligned security roles.

Employees can reset their GA@WORK password if needed.

There is not a maximum number of direct reports.

Can someone besides the employee add personal information?
Yes. Depending on security role.

For employees no longer active/employed, how far back will former employee data be transferred from PeopleSoft into GA@WORK?
Terminated employees from 1-1-2025 will be entered in GA@WORK. Employees terminated before that date will be retained according to state data retention code. Training will cover more about this process.

What is the support matrix organization structure?
Transaction approvals are organized through security roles and supervisory organizations.

Will their be standard, statewide business processes, such as with terminations?
Business processes will be standardized across the state in GA@WORK.

Can tasks be temporarily reassigned if someone is unexpectedly absent for a period of time?
Tasks can be temporarily reassigned if someone is absent for a period of time via delegation for certain tasks to be provided in training.

Can you view worker information if they are not in your agency?
Security access in GA@WORK is similar to the current state, and user access is restricted to their own agencies.

When there are employees with the same name, how are they uniquely identified?
All employees have a unique employee ID number, as they do in the legacy system.

What report features will agencies have in GA@WORK?
Many of the HR reports in TeamWorks will be migrated to GA@WORK, and users will have access to what they have security to see. Users will be able to drill down to department level in reports.

Can unpaid interns be onboarded in GA@WORK?
Unpaid interns can be onboarded as contingent workers. Contingent workers do not receive a W2 from a state entity and are not eligible for benefits.

Is there a business process for HR to verify employee address changes?
There is not a business process in GA@WORK to verify address changes. Agencies will have to continue to communicate with employees.

If an employee transfers to another agency, is their data still available?
If an employee transfers to another state agency using GA@WORK, their data is still available.

Are there any timing limitations as to when a person can be hired?
In GA@WORK, you can hire anytime that suits your business needs.
