What's New

A process mapping survey went out to TeamWorks agencies in late November to gather information about processes and procedures that deviate from standardized practices and systems. Thank you to everyone who completed the survey on behalf of their organization. Your responses are a critical part of this process!
 
The survey data provided input to process mapping workshops. The workshops have been divided into two sprints with participating agencies selected based on TeamWorks transaction volumes and process standardization and deviations. Sprint 1 Workshops were held the week of Dec. 12. These workshops served as an opportunity for the identified agencies to provide their input on the future system. Thank you to everyone who participated in these sessions by providing your time and expertise.

By the Numbers

With findings from the workshops and input from attendees and subject matter experts, the NextGen project team is pulling together system requirements. Currently, the team is meeting to review the process maps and requirements for finance, procurement and human resource management. Next, the requirements, along with suggested best practices, will be included in a Request for Proposal for an implementation partner, who will help us implement the new system.

What's Next

Our process mapping consultants, Ernst & Young, will host a second sprint of workshops. Sprint 2 Workshop invitations will be going out later this month as an opportunity for additional agencies to provide input on the future system. This will help further refine our processes and provide more detail for system requirements.
