The State of Georgia provides different types of paid time off for eligible employees. This includes, but is not limited to, the following:
- Annual – provided to use for vacations or other personal reasons
- Sick – provided to use for medical needs for employee and/or immediate family members
- Education Support – provided to use for activities directly related to student achievement and academic support in Georgia
- Paid Parental Leave – provided to use for eligible qualifying life events (e.g., the birth of the employee’s child)
