This year has been one of many accomplishments, challenges, trials and triumphs. We are now two years into the NextGen project. We’ve done the research, the planning and the building out of our project team. And now, we’re ready to kick it into the next gear. The project is officially entering the Implementation Phase, where we’re collaborating with business experts across the enterprise to configure the new Workday system for Georgia’s needs.
These experts are lending their time, skills and knowledge to make this business transformation happen. To all of these people, we want to say THANK YOU. This project is not possible without your input and know-how. We also want to say THANK YOU to the agencies and organizations that have leant these experts to the project. And we want to say THANK YOU to everyone who has been part of this project so far.
The year ahead brings with it exciting opportunities for us to form the future ecosystem for how Georgia does business. Now that we’ve completed the research and planning and have our team ready, we are poised to make 2024 a great year for the state. We look forward to what the next 12 months look like for the NextGen project.
