What’s Next
ADP Power of Attorney form due Feb. 13
Agencies using ADP as their tax services provider must sign and submit the GAGOV_ADP RAA Power of Attorney Form 8655 to the NextGen Tax Services Team by Friday, Feb. 13.
The Power of Attorney form was originally sent last March, but due to the GA@WORK timeline shift, ADP is requesting an updated form.
CFOs should have received a pre-filled Power of Attorney form on Jan. 23 via Kiteworks with instructions on how to complete and submit the form. If you believe you should have received the form but haven’t, please check your spam folder then reach out to [email protected].
Timely submission of this form will complete ADP’s onboarding process and ensure your agency’s enrollment.
All forms must be signed using a wet signature before submission.
Cash Conversion off to a strong start
On Jan. 27, the NextGen Project team kicked off Cash Conversion, a critical milestone in preparing for the GA@WORK go-live. As part of this effort, agencies are being asked to submit ending bank balances for each bank account, including any outstanding items like uncleared checks. This information is required to support GA@WORK’s automated bank reconciliation process, ensuring bank balances are accurately converted and ready for reconciliation at go-live.
On Feb. 4, agency CFOs received templates through Kiteworks, along with the following key deadlines and information about available office hours:
- Wednesday, March 4 – February 2026 ending bank balances are due
- Monday, March 9 – Outstanding checks are due
- Office Hours (All sessions are from 11 – 11:30 a.m.)
- Wednesday, Feb. 11
- Tuesday, March 3
Agency CFOs should review the templates, note the upcoming deadlines and take advantage of scheduled office hours to ask questions and receive support.
If further assistance is needed, reach out to [email protected].
Go-live Rehearsal tasks at 60% completion
The project’s go-live rehearsal is underway with nearly 60% of all go-live tasks completed. In addition, the NextGen Project Team continues to refine the Cutover plan, identifying dependencies and making improvements aimed at streamlining the process in advance of Cutover.
HR Manual Corrections and Security Role Mapping are two activities that have taken place as part of the Go-live Rehearsal. The HR Manual Corrections activity included debrief sessions and practice scenarios through Feb. 6. An additional round of HR Manual Corrections practice sessions will take place towards the end of February. The most recent round of Security Role Mapping involved participants attending working sessions to update their agency’s templates through Jan. 30. All agencies were invited to participate in both of these activities.
Thank you to those who participated in these activities. Your partnership in the execution of this work is vital to the success of GA@WORK.

End-to-End Grants testing kicks off March 9
More than 50 agencies will be taking part in Grants End-to-End (E2E) testing from March 9 - April 2.
In February, agency CFOs and POCs received a request to confirm their agency's Grants testers by Feb. 20. The request specifies which testers are needed from the agency as well as what functions need to be represented.
The Grants E2E testing process involves users validating the entire Grants lifecycle, addressing all Grants-related functions like spending against the award, billing sponsors, award budget and award reports, to ensure all components and integrations work together correctly.
This final round of testing will be both in-person and virtual.
February Procurement Huddle to focus on training
he February Procurement Huddle will take place on Wednesday, Feb. 25 and include an informative and engaging session focused on GA@WORK training dates and role-specific training programs for procurement staff, including instructor-led training (ILT) offerings. Additionally, the session will cover training opportunities available to agencies, including the University System of Georgia and Georgia Department of Transportation participants.
