New road map outlines tasks to prepare for training
A new resource, the
Pre-Training
Readiness Road Map
, is now available in the GA@WORK Resource Library. The road map outlines tasks that need to be completed by all employees each month through December to prepare for training and go-live.
In September, the activities on the road map are:
- Verify your access to training in Team Georgia Learning
- Bookmark the GA@WORK Resource Library
- Begin your
Manager Readiness Checklist (Managers Only)
- Update your TeamWorks data so you can receive email notifications when Learning Programs (Paths) are assigned
The Project Team will continue to share the activities for each month in the NextGen Newsletter, so keep watch and download the Pre-Training Readiness Road Map to stay on track.
Updated Training FAQ document added to GA@WORK Resource Library
The updated

New demos/videos available
The video section of the GA@WORK Resource Library has been reorganized to make it easier to find demos and sneak peeks of the GA@WORK system. It now includes four dedicated pages within the GA@WORK Videos section, each linking to a different category of video content showcasing the system and its features. As additional demos are available, the recordings will be posted. The new video section includes:
- Sneak Peeks – The full series of GA@WORK Sneak Peek videos that provide quick overviews of different features and processes in GA@WORK
- HCM Demos – End-to-end demos for HCM processes
- Finance Demos – End-to-end demos for Finance processes
- Procurement Demos – End-to-end demos for Procurement processes (coming soon)

The newest demo added to the GA@WORK Resource Library is HCM Demo 2: Hire to Retire End-to-End System Demo for HR Directors. The demo highlights Direct Hire, Rehire, Transfers, Terminations, Compensation Changes and Job Changes processes and introduced the Start, Stop, Continue worksheet (available on the GA@WORK Resource Library in the Managers section, see below) to help agencies plan for adoption of new activities and transitions away from legacy systems.
