HCM Business Area Toolkits now available

Also available on the GA@WORK Resource Library are the first toolkits organized by Human Capital Management (HCM) business areas. The purpose of the toolkits is to provide resources to help employees get ready for GA@WORK. These resources include identified change impacts by business area, and additional materials such as FAQs, glossaries, and crosswalks. Remember, the toolkits are not training, but they help connect what employees will learn in training to their daily jobs.

The GA@WORK Resource Library will be updated throughout the coming months with different resource collections, including resources for employees, managers, and other business areas in HCM, Finance, and Procurement.

Please share these materials with your teams.

What’s Next

It’s almost time for Enterprise User Acceptance Testing to begin!

Enterprise User Acceptance Testing (UAT) is scheduled for June 9 - August 8. This round combines HCM and FIN/PRO workstreams so users can test GA@WORK’s business processes, security, reports and integrations and gauge how the platform reacts and performs under a variety of real-world situations.

Agency testers will identify any outstanding issues that need to be addressed in GA@WORK so the NextGen Project Team can resolve them in advance of the Oct. 1 go-live date.

Next steps
Agency CFOs, HRDs, APOs/CUPOs and POCs recently received an email requesting they either confirm their agency’s previous testers will continue in Enterprise UAT or identify replacement testers by May 16. This round of testing will give those agencies who chose Single Sign-On an opportunity for their testers to access GA@WORK using this access method.

The NextGen Project Team will ensure testing aligns with the testers' functional expertise and workstream areas to ensure correct assignments. Testers will be invited to complete required training in advance of the start of Enterprise UAT.

Thank you in advance to all our testers for helping improve processes and the user experience for all State of Geogia employees!

Important Reminder: CY25 tax filings deadline was May 9

Agency CFOs who registered with Automatic Data Processing (ADP) for payroll tax services should have submitted their CY25 tax filings to ADP for their annual CY25 payroll reporting.

An email was sent to those CFOs on May 5 with details on what should be included in the filings as well as how and where they should be sent. Please note that the CY25 tax filings were due on May 9.

If you have not submitted your CY25 tax filings, please do so as soon as possible. If you have questions, contact [email protected]
